Live Entertainment: Danika Thompson

Mesmerizing violinist, Danika Thompson has been playing since she was only 9 years old. In college, she switched to the electric violin and developed a newfound passion for the instrument. Before fully pursuing music as a career, Danika worked as an ocean lifeguard in San Clemente for six years. She is now studying music at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee, with an emphasis in composition. Danika spends her time songwriting, composing, playing weddings, parties, private events, and busking downtown.

Daniel Corbo is a singer/songwriter and guitarist focused on conveying a message of love and social empowerment. His music reflects a positive outlook on life and strives to promote universal understanding and compassion for one another. He currently attends Berklee College of Music and is excited to be back for the summer to perform live again.

Aspiring singer/songwriter, Cloi Crider has always had a passion for music and plays the guitar and piano. She is a recording artist at OC Hit Factory and currently working on releasing an EP this year. Cloi is always excited for the next opportunity to perform on stage and hopes to one day inspire the world with her music.

Live Entertainment: Taylor Hopper

San Clemente local, 17-year-old Taylor Hopper is a guitartist and lead singer of JSerra High School’s rock band, The Mane Event. Additionally, as a student at Los Rios Rock School in San Juan Capistrano, she has performed at The Coach House, The Yost Theater, and The Vault. A frequent solo performer at StillWater Spirits & Sounds in Dana Point, Taylor is also the lead singer and rhythm guitarist for a local band, Under Pressure. Her musical influences include Alanis Morrisette, Fleetwood Mac, Bruce Springsteen, Queen, and David Bowie. Taylor is currently working on an EP of originals for summer release.

Troy, a born entertainer, can do countless impressions and walk on his hands. He used to be terrified of singing at a young age, but always wrote songs and practiced playing guitar in his room. When a friend secretly signed him up for their high school talent show, Troy reluctantly performed and was surprised when he received a standing ovation. Troy appeared on Season 7 of The Voice, where he was a member of Team Gwen. He’s been the lead singer in a band ever since.

Live Entertainment: Community Outreach Alliance Performers

Once a month, Outlets at San Clemente will team up with Community Outreach Alliance (COA) to feature young, local musicians in Oak Tree Court. Learn more about this wonderful organization by visiting the COA website and visit the center to hear great music and learn how you can get involved with COA’s programs.

Lilah Jane Kopenhefer
Lilah Jane Kopenhefer is a 14 year old singer/songwriter from San Clemente, CA. who began playing the guitar when she was 11 and started writing her own songs and singing at age 12. She takes singing and guitar lessons locally at Beach Cities Rock Club and is looking forward to beginning high school at San Clemente High in the fall where she will continue her music studies. Lilah Jane recently was a featured up and coming artist to watch on the popular music website Breatheheavy.com.

Alyssa Bardzilowski and Sophia Racke
Alyssa and Sophia first met at San Clemente High School, where they both performed in the choir and theater arts program, and have been making music together ever since. Having both returned home for the summer from their first year of college, they are excited to be performing together again at Outlets at San Clemente. Alyssa currently attends Boise State University and interns for the COA music program, while Sophia attends UC Davis.

Alyssa and Sophia will be performing solos and duets, and will involve their own accompaniment on guitar, cello, ukulele, or piano.

Jasmine Star Leialoha Madlener
Fourteen-year-old Jasmine Star Leialoha Madlener started performing music at the age of two and is now a multi-award winning classical pianist. Jasmine loves to perform and is a regular at open mic nights at venues including COA, The Lost Bean, and The Point, playing both originals and covers. She also performs with her band, Sound 404, who recently won Battle of the Bands at St. Anne’s School.
